The hatch on the back of the Funnel Container opens and closes, allowing the six funnels to be attached and detached. Furthermore, the thruster covers (apogee motors) can be deployed on all four sides, recreating scenes just like in the movie. *"Funnels" are long-distance attack weapons exclusively for Newtypes, and are the iconic armament of the Sazabi.
